CAVX Products: A Look Back Over The Last 10 Years

Cinematic Audio Visual Experience was registered in July of 2000. Since that time, I have developed several products including the Aussiemorphic Lens, Projector Station and CAVX Speakers. I am also an authorized re-seller for JVC and BenQ projectors.

CAVX is about the total home cinema solution starting at the design stage to ensure everything works in perfect synergy.

CAVX AUSSIEMORPHIC LENS:
The MK4 is the Australian first cylindrical 1.33x anamorphic lens. It features precision, fully corrected optics and is housed in an alloy case. The case was designed by myself before I had the CAD drawings done professionally for engineering shops to build. The optics were designed by the optical genius that designs lenses for Cannon Cameras. His company also own the factories that machine the glass.
In April 2011, I decided to improve the case design and called the version the MK5.

CAVX CORRECTOR:
This single lens is designed to be added to the older Aussiemorphic Lens MK3 to allow it to deliver a much sharper image than is possible from prisms alone. I am in the process of organizing another group buy on this lens for all those that own the MK3 and would like to get even better performance.

CAVX CALIBRATION SERVICES:
Available for locals [SE QLD] that want a 6500K grey scale for their displays. Before and after charts can be provided.

CAVX DIFFUSER:

This acoustic tile is designed for when you need to break sound up and still keep the sound live.

CAVX PROJECTOR STATION:
The Projector Station is a mounting solution for mounting an anamorphic lens with a projector. The revised version of this product is now made from 6mm laser cut anodized [black] aluminum.

CAVX ROOM DESIGN:
Based on world wide standards in compliance with SMPTE and THX.

CAVX SPEAKERS:
Over the last 10 years, these have undergone a few modifications. The most recent development is the move from passive to active circuitry.

CAVX AT SCREENS: I am now able to offer a DIY solution to AT screens. The new fabric has just 3% perf area meaning that this fabric can be used in setups other AT fabrics can not.
