Road Testing the New MK5
The MK5 is now complete and I taking orders for this new version of the Aussiemorphic Lens. Whilst there has been discussion of forums, the best way to explain how the Anamorphic Lens works is to take it those that are interested in Constant Image Height or CinemaScope Projection and let them see it for themselves. Last night [June 18, 2011] I ran the second of a series of Home Theatre Forum based meets to show off CinemaScope Projection and the new Aussiemorphic Lens MK5.
Sunnybank HiFi
Thanks to Sunnybank HiFi for allowing me to use their show room and their equipment including a Mitsubishi HC9000 projector for the night's Scope Projection demonstration. I look unsure about the Control 4 system running off the I-Pad.
A previous meet had been held at the BIG PICTURE PEOPLE located at Robina on the Gold Coast on the 28th of May and I plan to hold another at Aussie HiFi sometime in July.
The Aussiemorphic Lens MK5
The Aussiemorphic Lens MK5 in front of the Mitsubishi HC9000. Although we were not able to show 3D, 2D was looking mighty sharp and I think from the feedback on the night [and on the forums], those that saw it were impressed.
